We are pleased about your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.
1. Access Data and Hosting
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server merely automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the retrieval, the transferred data volume, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring a trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your page visit.
1.1 Hosting
The services for hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our service providers as part of processing on our behalf. Unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy, all access data and all data collected in forms provided for this purpose on this website will be processed on their servers. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.
1.2 Content Delivery Network
To reduce loading times, we use a so-called Content Delivery Network (CDN) for some offers. With this service, content, e.g., large media files, is delivered via regionally distributed servers of external CDN service providers. Therefore, access data is processed on the servers of the service providers. Our service providers work for us within the framework of order processing. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.
2. Data Processing for Contract Processing, Contact, and Opening a Customer Account
We collect personal data when you provide it to us in the context of your order or when you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email) voluntarily. Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need the data in these cases to process the contract or handle your contact and you cannot send the order or contact without providing it. The data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data provided by you for the purpose of contract processing and handling your inquiries in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
If you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO by deciding to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account. Further information on the processing of your data, in particular the transfer to our service providers for order, payment, and shipping processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of tax and commercial law retention periods in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c DSGVO, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can either be done by a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.
3. Data Processing for the Purpose of Shipping Processing
For the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.

4. Data Processing for Payment Processing
For the processing of payments in our online shop, we work together with these partners: technical service providers, credit institutions, payment service providers.
4.1 Data Processing for Transaction Processing
Depending on the selected payment method, we pass on the data necessary for the processing of the payment transaction to our technical service providers, who act for us within the framework of order processing, or to the commissioned credit institutions or to the selected payment service provider, insofar as this is necessary for the processing of the payment. This serves the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO. In some cases, the payment service providers collect the data required for the processing of the payment themselves, e.g., on their own website or via a technical integration in the order process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
If you have any questions about our partners for payment processing and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.
4.2 Data Processing for the Purpose of Fraud Prevention and the Optimization of Our Payment Processes
We may pass on further data to our service providers, which they use together with the data necessary for the processing of the payment as our order processors for the purpose of fraud prevention and the optimization of our payment processes (e.g., invoicing, handling of contested payments, support for accounting). This serves in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO to protect our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, in protecting against fraud or in efficient payment management.

On our website, we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (“Usercentrics”) to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website and to obtain, manage, and document your legally required consent to the processing of your personal data through these technologies. This is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c DSGVO to fulfill our legal obligation according to Art. 7 Para. 1 DSGVO to be able to prove your consent to the processing of your personal data. Usercentrics is an offer of Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Germany, which processes your data on our behalf. Your data will be deleted after three years unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.
7. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies for Web Analysis and Advertising Purposes
If you have consented to this in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we use the following cookies and other technologies from third-party providers on our website. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found for each technology. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.
7.1 Use of Google Services
We use the following technologies from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between jointly responsible parties according to Art. 26 DSGVO. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

8. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge
To display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any collected reviews, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website.

An adequate level of data protection is ensured. Further information on the data protection of Trusted Shops GmbH can be found here.
When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the retrieval, the transferred data volume, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. Individual access data is stored in a security database for the analysis of security anomalies. The log files are automatically deleted at the latest 90 days after their creation.
Further personal data is transmitted to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or have already registered for use. The contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you, as a buyer, are already registered for product use is checked using a neutral parameter, the hashed email address. The email address is converted into this hash value, which cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops before transmission. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.
This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' legitimate interests in the provision of the respective buyer protection linked to the specific order and the transactional evaluation services in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
